Lately i've been having headaches quite frequently, some of which i can associate with sinus pain. About a year ago i broke my nose, but for personal reasons i didnt see a doctor at the time. Now its healed, but it's definitely crooked. I'm wondering if there's any way that my sinus pains//headaches could be associated with it?

If i wanted to get it fixed would I have to go to a plastic surgeon or would a hospital do that type of thing? I live in Canada and i'm not sure if insurance would cover this.

has anyone had a similar experience with a broken nose healing out of place?

yeah i had a deviated septum for close to ten years. it constantly bothered me when trying to sleep. finally went to get it checked by the gp, they referred me to a specialist who stuck a tube up and took some xray snaps to confirm the deviation.

on the australian medicare system, i added my name to the waiting list. it wasn't life threatening so i had to wait about a year (got a call after a couple of months due to a sudden opening but since i had a cold or something and was on antibiotics, i had to miss it), but eventually had the procedure at no cost.

stayed one night in the hospital and had to clean out my sinsus for a couple of weeks with saltwater and a kinda douche like pump thing. taking the stitches out was the worst part of the whole ordeal but i've slept like a baby ever since.
